Supporting the Causes Close to Our Astral Family

At Astral, we’re proud to support two charities that mean a lot to our team:

SLR Greenway (Charity No. 1216304) Several of our team members have volunteered many hours to this local project, and we’re delighted to support their efforts.
Santerpaws Bulgarian Rescue (Charity No. 1183401) We back our Office Manager Karen, who has fundraised for the charity for over six years, helping dogs in need find new homes.

Women in Construction Week Spotlight

As part of Women in Construction Week, we’re proud to highlight the talented women who are helping shape the future of Astral.

Today, we’re celebrating Sian Jones, our dedicated Apprentice Quantity Surveyor.

Sian is currently in her 3rd year of her Level 6 qualification and has recently achieved her Level 4—a fantastic milestone and a testament to her hard work and commitment.

We couldn’t be prouder of the progress she’s made so far, and we look forward to supporting her as she continues to grow and develop within the industry.

What a fantastic night at the LABC Building Excellence Awards Grand Final on Friday!

We may not have taken home the win this time, but we’re incredibly proud to have been shortlisted as national winners — a huge achievement for our team and something we’re truly honoured by.

CPD Training with Soluform

Last week our Astral team had the pleasure of welcoming Soluform to the office for a CPD training session.

A huge thank you to the Soluform team for visiting and sharing their expertise on hand‑placed bagwork and environmentally conscious erosion control solutions.

It was a great opportunity for our staff to expand their knowledge, explore innovative products, and continue our commitment to delivering high‑quality, sustainable projects across the community.

Net Zero Progress!

Thanks to the KCC Active Travel Business Grant, we’ve been able to provide free ebikes for our employees to support a greener, easier commute.

KCC is helping organisations encourage sustainable travel with grants for things like cycle parking, lockers, showers, and e bike charging.

Grateful for the support as we continue our journey toward net zero!
