Astral Ltd delivered a contemporary single storey rear extension, replacing an existing conservatory to create a more durable, energy‑efficient addition to the home. The scheme was carefully designed to integrate seamlessly with the original property, both visually and structurally.

The build involved new mass concrete foundations, structural steelwork, and traditional cavity wall construction with high levels of insulation throughout, achieving strong thermal performance. A pitched roof finished to match the existing house, combined with high‑performance glazing and rooflights, allows natural light to flood the new space while maintaining excellent energy efficiency.

Internally, the extension benefits from upgraded electrical installations, mechanical extraction, and new sanitaryware, alongside provisions for modern finishes and fittings. New drainage, rainwater management, and external works were completed within the immediate footprint of the extension, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding site.
